Dr. Pete DeArmas has been a licensed
Chiropractor since <<1992>>.
Dr. Pete DeArmas has been freeing people from pain since <<1994>> in his clinic in Escondido, CA. As a Chiropractor with experience, our professionals are committed to promoting the health and well being of his patients.
Dr. DeArmas uses a "whole person approach" when taking care of his patients. By combining the very best hands-on-technique, state of the art physiotherapy procedures, and providing the newest and best natural vitamins and mineral supplements on the market today, Dr. DeArmas is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
Dr. Pete had a sensational athletic career as a youth and into the professional ranks. He excelled at Football, Soccer and Ice Hockey earning many accolades for his stellar play. He was selected to the All-New England Football team in 1981 for recording 1650 all purpose yards and 11 TD's. However, Ice Hockey was Dr. Pete's sport. As a member of the NMH prep school hockey team in 1979 they were 25-0 and ranked 4th in the nation. That team was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame. Dr. Pete was highly recruited by many top colleges and Universities. He landed at the University of New York, Plattsburgh an NCAA Division II powerhouse where he went on to set many scoring records and reach the Final Four three out of his four years in college.
Dr. Pete graduated as the All-Time Plattsburgh State Cardinal scoring leader with 209 career points. He was the second leading scorer in the nation his Junior year with 73 points in 34 games. He went on to earn NCAA All- American honors as well as "MVP"and University "Athlete of the Year" his senior year. He was inducted into the University Sports Hall of Fame in 2004.
Dr. Pete's dream came true when he signed a Free Agent contract with the Los Angeles Kings of the NHL in 1985. He went on to play in their minor league affiliate in the IHL in Toledo,Ohio and for the Virginia Lancers of the ACHL. In 1987 with the Virginia Lancers, Dr. Pete led the league in scoring and was voted "MVP" of the league.
New York Rangers coach John Tortorella and former Stanley Cup winning Tampa Bay Lightning coach had this to say about Dr. Pete on his selection: " the league coaches made the right selection. Pete De Armas does it all. --- He's a team leader and a fierce competitor". His team went on to win the ACHL Championship.
Dr. Pete played a year in Europe living in Dijon, France 1987-88. He led his team to a National Title in Division II and was voted MVP of the playoffs as he was the leading scorer.
Dr. Pete became the Hockey Director at the Iceflo in Escondido when it opened in 1994 while building his Chiropractic practice. He has enjoyed coaching youth sports in Escondido in ice hockey, soccer and golf all of which his children have enjoyed playing and continue to play for our area high schools and competitive programs.
Dr. De Armas, his wife Tammy, and their children, Analisa, Torrey and Julianne enjoy the beauty and culture of the area and all the outdoor activities the region provides.
